Review: Archos 70 Internet Tablet (part 2)

Northern Colorado VoIP Video
Testing some cool features, Dolphin Browser HD multi-tabs, video-chatting, RDP, Angry Birds and Burning Tires, I just did a 37 minute VOIP call using SIP on Fring and using my $8/month 1GB/month SIM card in my Huawei Mifi and it works pretty much perfectly.

@SteveBIRK Basically, a piece of cake. Just get the gApps4Archos.apk file, easy to find on Google. Put that on the device using USB (or download directly onto it using the browser), then simply double click on it in “Files” app to install. Takes about 1 minute. 99% of the 100’000 Android apps in Google Marketplace probably work fine, paid apps too.

i know the market and google apps dont come on the device but are they easy to side load? I noticed you had the market so i was just wondering how much hassle it would be to get those apps on the device.

@jocinondemhaterzmen Remote controlling software works for any OS on any OS. Look up how VNC/RDP works. Availability is now or soon, follow the ArchosFans forum.
