ooma setup and review
This is a short review of the OOMA system. This is free home phone service with call waiting and all the features one could want for free. Magicjack may offer phone service for 19.95 a year, but honestly, who even wants to pay that and who wants to keep their computer on 24/7 to keep their dial tone. NOT ME. And the prices of the telephone, cable and even vonage are crazy. You pay one time up front to buy the Ooma hub and then no more charges, ever. They do have a premier package which they offer for 99.99 a year to have 2 phone lines and all kinds of other crazy features.

Does the Scout have any purpose if you don’t get the ooma premier service? If it does then I am not seeing it.

the OOMA is still in great use and I have made up the cost that I spent for it by not paying a phone bill. Their free service is fine for me which includes caller id, call fowarding, call waiting etc.. No real complaints here. I LOVE FREE TELEPHONE and I’ll never go back to paying for phone service.
The scout is for a second line if you have two lines with ooma. Or you could put the scout say downstairs and be able to retrieve all of your voice mail messages from it. I just have the hub..

Yes At&t is fast enough for it. The sound is great. They have really done a great job here with good sound and great features…I would never go back to paying for my home phone line again.
