Nettalk TK6000: Unboxing, Setup & Trial

Northern Colorado VoIP Video
This is a video i made of an unboxing, setup & trial of the new VOIP service from Nettalk. Their VOIP box is called the TK6000. This is a alternative to the magicjack and vonage. Everything went smoothly. I even called someone afterward and the call was very clear, and caller had no complaints on our connection.

it does include voicemail. Its just a small box to plug the wires in and there is nothing there to let you know you have any messages. I use the message machine with my phone

Do they provide voice mail? Is there any indication on the unit showing a pending voice mail?

as long as you have a high speed internet like cable and nor DSL, you should have excellent quality. So far it’s just as good as my old vonage service, and i had them for 4 years

Try putting a dsl filter between the phone and nettalk device. they might just need to tune out filtering technology.

They recently fixed a problem with intermittent garble on their network. Since then, calls are very clear.

i am thinking about getting one. how is the call quality and everything ?

that is the reason why i never bought a MJ. Nettalk connects directly into an open port on your router, apple airport extreme or even your existing vonage box. You never even use your compueter with it. No software to download either. Just need internet access to setup your account on their site and get phone number. I also just canceled vonage. 5 years vonage cost me $15 per month. It now got up to $39, so the hell with them
