Good point… but wait till you see the cooler features of this phone. QWEST cut one loose from the show and I’ve brought it back to my lab to give it a thorough once-over.
The advantage isn’t so much voice quality or emergency access, but rather the plethora of options that the user has in deciding how to combine and receive his communications.
I’ll give you a heads up when we finish the ep.

another great episode.
only thing is … i see no advantage to VoIP. if the power goes out, no phone or anything. as for clarity, i can’t tell a difference.

Is there some kind of “extension-dongle” or would you have to carry the whole device around in order to keep your extension?
