@OSGUIShow lol looks just like it but yeah google kicks ass i bet its better..shit it makes pbhone calls (for free) fuck MSN(wich charges for phone). I do like some features of MSN (not aMSN). Like the picture thing (drop a picture on the screen and it sends it/previews it on the other users IM), the short voice messages u can send as im’s w/o connecting to voice chat and the custom smileys(giff images) that u can upload and share. :p

@OSGUIShow It is the one they sent me in the mail 10.04 LTS. I have a (dont laugh) a 900mhz 256 meg ram and I dont know the video chip. But I do know one thing. I can run Jack/Ardour with no problems. I can record up to three tracks with old ‘puter. I just wanted to play with it a bit and check it out. I plan on getting a new one soon. I got caught int he Vista storm a while back., and just switched to Linux. for peace of mind, and this is not.
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:47 am
@analyzingfunny is it the 32bit or 64bit version you downloaded?
what type of computer do you have? what graphics chip is it?
November 22nd, 2010 at 4:48 am
@OSGUIShow Well I just spent the last three hours loading 10. It STILL messes up my computer BIG TIME. Is 10 meant to 64 bit or something. The screen just flashes jibberish and locks up. really bad stuff. Why cant I just load it run it on this?
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:15 am
@analyzingfunny i dunno how or if you can sorry
just upgrade your OS
install it dual boot or something
download ubuntu studio 10.04 and try that please
November 22nd, 2010 at 5:54 am
@OSGUIShow Ok, I dont have 10.04. It messes up my computer when I load it. How do I load Rakarrack on ubuntu 9.10? Please help me. Call me, or Ill call you for free!
November 22nd, 2010 at 6:36 am
@analyzingfunny i dont use that sip service thing but i do use gmail but i want people to ask for detailed help on my free forums on my website please
Rakarrack is in the ubuntu linux 10.04 repos so please upgrade to it
but because it uses JACK Audio
for it to work easy
you MUST install Ubuntu Studio to use it
I have done videos about Ubuntu Studio 10.04 and Jack apps
Jack apps do not work well or easy with the normal ubuntu that uses PulseAudio
I installed Rakarrack but it complained about Jack
November 22nd, 2010 at 6:52 am
Man, Im such a noob, but I actually got Twinkle in full operating mode. Twinkle runs off of the sip thing. I dont even know how I got it to work, I was just guessing. But, it runs very nicely, and it doe snot require a browser open to recieve a call using GV. Any chance we can trade knowledge/Gizmo numbers for some help installing Rakarrack? I really need Rakarrak for my guitars and it is not in the 9.10 repository and when I do load it it says I am missing something. linux rocks. 5months now!
