I say use it if it’s a building M-Com (for D2.0) or if the defence is huge, but otherwise C4 is the way to go. Or just stop being a puff and arm it.

Wrong, a mortar strike WILL do damage. Wherever you call in the mortar strike all the shells land in a circle around where you placed it. Try calling in the mortar strike a few feet next to the MCOM station and voila, it does damage. Believe me I’ve seen and done it.

They made the mortar strike not able to damage the Mcom directly because it would be very cheap to have the whole attacking team destroying mcoms with mortar strikes from where its safe. Dont complain

Mortar Strikes could destroy the M-Com if it is in a house and the mortar strike colapses the house onto it.

i think they do, try several times for accurate results
considering Mortar randomly drops on a location it may of simply missed it.
