*HELLO* – Apple News & Rumours: Part 19, been a while since I did a video with regards to news and rumours, been busy with university, BUT, I am on holiday and can spare a bit more time to news and rumours. This video I am talking about new patents apple have applied for and what they mean to us. Intel processors for new apple products, Apple buying more companies and the growth of the Apple iphone !

It would be awesome if the dock connectors/connection was wireless so you even not need connectors…
But that maybe future and not now, and maybe not on Apple products ever..

The skip function won’t really be a good idea. Mainly because, what if you skip by accedent? Or what if you skip so you can get to your favorite songs?

@garrettlove101 “Agreed, but then wouldn’t Apple have to worry about more things, like hacks” why? Having control over EFI or OpenFirmware as they have and do sets the rules on up.

Agreed, but then wouldn’t Apple have to worry about more things, like hacks? Plus what would that do to the Apple – Intel relationship? I think Apple should by Intel, but still let them stay an independent company. That Apple would be able to do so much more development, and would be able to get what ever chips they wanted. Maybe make amazing chips for themselves and and just sell the ok ones to other companies.

Japan use Apple only, barely any microsoft. That’s why they have such a big amount of the total market

Apple cannot abandon X86, it seems that every move Apple makes or people wish is an absolute. I say go back to the NextStep ways, let it run on x86, RISC, SPARC, POWER, whatever, give us more options for chips/chipsets, like AMD.

The iPod skipping the song is cool, but at the same time I skip a lot songs that I don’t want to listen to but I like. I think it would have to be able to turned off. The “shape-shifting” dock is just ridiculous.

A touchscreen on the iMac is very impractical. If you’re at a desk, why would you want to lean over and have to touch the screen to do commands? That’s why the HP Touchsmart sucks. Plus, this would raise the price of the iMac.

@CarlyUTube i cant justify using a touch screen what is it good for simple computing? its rather useless IMO.

Apple products are very expensive in China so that may be why the iPhone is not selling so well.
In japan it may just be the novelty of having an american phone that makes it sell so well. Like having an imported phone that no one else has.
If that makes sense.

I agree Apple needs to update their displays, but calm down Apple is just patenting technology so no one else can use it. We probably won’t see that display technology used for years and years to come.

hmm not likely, apples main aim of pa semi was to use them to manufacture chips for MOBILE devices, if apple used pa semi chips they could never get windows on there systems, and that would be a loss of a big features ! plus apple are just about over the PPC technology in computers, but PPC ftw lol
