heres my review on the plantronics 355 headset, optimize for calling, gaming, music and movies Plantronics 355 Multimedia Gaming Headset Specs: Speaker Size: 40mm diameter Speaker Freq: 20Hz – 20Khz Mic Freq: 100Hz – 10khz Cable Length: 6.5ft Price: $30-$40 at Best Buy or Amazon or somewhere Pros: -Sleek, Modern Design -Audio Clarity -Bass “Thumps” which gives it a studio feel -Picks up Low, Mids and Highs in sound -Very comfortable, been using it for 5 straight hours
-Microphone picks up only my voice and my friends said i sounded crystal clear -not too expensive -Microphone swivels out of the way -Volume and Mic mute control -Connectors are Gold which is good for conducting Cons: -Kinda cheap material -Volume wheel only minimizes sound to 25%

i just got these off ebay for $8 is that good? like according to the current technology theyve released in headsets. also, could i just plug in the headphone jack into like my ipod and it will work? it should right?

@XxTwiztdSkaterxX yes its not on mute and im sure i plug it into the right jack and it still doesn’t work.

@jediman14 best off to call Best Buy or wherever u got it from….and make sure u have the receipt if not…call plantronics and tell them the right ear phone went out, and do ASAP because its a one year warranty on the headset

I would have to say this is the best PC gaming headset I have ever owned. Very good frequency response! (and im a bass freak) very good mic, which is cool cuz it tilts up when not in use. They’re very economic @ $30 at most retailers. You can find these all over from TigerDirect, Meijer, BestBuy, Walmart and more. I have had mine a year or 2 now. They may be “made cheaper” but what isn’t now-a-days; take care of it and it will last. To anyone that broke these, take better care of your stuff :p

Mine just broke after 2 month.
Typical plantronic problem , the right ear side went off.

@TheKinetic9 They’re around my ears so they feel pretty good sometimes after few hrs or so after gaming my ears hurts a bit but that’s about it.
