It’s cost $60 per month PLUS other applicable fees which stretch to over $70 for a very lame and restricted data plan. Say roughtly $65 per month x 12 months = $780 x 3 yr contract = $2340 contract PLUS the $200 for the phone = $2540!!! This does not include the severe penalities for anyone who dare go over their alotted Meg’s and they are severe and take you to the poor house.
So, how excited are you? Gas money, or a phone?

Kudos to Harmony Mobile for attempting to wrestle the mobile monopoly from our “gang” of 3 providers. If Harmony offers wireless plans here in Toronto you can count me and my wife to sign up.. seriously!

Anyone notice the ongoing lack of iPhone in canada? MacWorld came and went recently, and rumours abounded about iPhone in Canada – and, STILL no iPhone.
Was I wrong here?

Rogers has been adamant about blocking any Wifi device offerings of any kind from any of their MVNOs, so I dont see how the iPhone is going to come in. One model that i think might be possible is if they address bell’s new offering of unlimited data for $70/mo, and they’ll give an unlimited plan as well. This along side a wifi-disable iPhone might make it useful for a price, and profitable for rogers. But, I dont think mr Jobs is going to go for letting a crippled iPhone out in the world.

interesting, what else can we expect Rogers in the iPhone, that is if Rogers brings in the iPhone. Like what will the cost be like? Does rogers have any plans for Wi-FI enabled devices?
