Finally! I had all of the pieces except Dolphin HD! Thank you, stonedgenius!
Still have the following issues:
1. At least a 10 second lag time from when I answer a call and when the connection actually happens.
2. Once connected I can hear the caller fine but the caller hears an elongated rendition of my speech.
Can this all be fixed in the sipdroid->settings->audio/video settings?

Okay this all seems to be working except I am still getting the calls listed as incoming minutes so it ends up costing me anyway. Am I doing something wrong here?
November 4th, 2010 at 12:38 am
not sure why.. but it says “your cost for this call is .04 per min you have 2 mins for this call” Who is doing the charging? google? Sipgate? sipdroid?

Do I have to keep sipdroid running on phone to have this work for free? Calls seem to be going through without sipdroid running but I am not sure if it is free this way???

@imon3y check the SIP credentials from the sipgate one account, there should be a problem with the characters, the authorizatoin username is kinda weird: xxxxxxxe0, with x’s being all digits, the password is 6 capital letters and the server is sipgate.com
otw, try wifi on after putting the phone in the plane mode, the sipgate one through sipdroid always work and it shd turn into green.

I did everything step by step but my red light stayed red (obviously didnt turn green at the point indicated) and said authorization failed 8( I am sorry if this is a total waste of time answering this I’m sure theres some inane solution I am simply not getting (rookie) but I’d appreciate the help!!!
